Basic information
The float is connected to a rod (permanent magnet). When the liquid level rises or falls, the magnetic field strength required to close the contact changes. The contact is directly connected to the sensor wires and switches/opens the electrical circuit to which it is connected. The sensor does not require any power supply, so it is voltage-free.
